Of all the ingame WoW leveling guides out there, what makes Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide so unique? Aren’t all WoW Guides basically the same?

The short answer is, no.

This Ultimate WoW Guide review will try to cover both the similarities and differences.

Leveling Speed

Dave Farrell, or Dugi to you and me, has been playing WoW since it was in beta. He claims that his following his guide will get you from 1 – 80 in under 7 days.

Well, ok, this claim isn’t unique. Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide, Team iDemise Questup, and Zygor Guides all boast virtually the same thing, and like the Ultimate WoW Guide, they deliver as well.

Ease of Use

Here Dugi’s guide starts to outweigh even Zygor. The Ultimate WoW Guide interface is one of the smallest, so there is less to clutter up your screen. This can be important if you’re playing on a laptop. Also the ui is extremely easy to use.

InGame Pane with Auto Detection

All the major WoW Guides work inGame: a panel keep the quests steps easily in view for you; no more alt-tabbing to a pdf or web page. But here the competition starts to drop out. Although Zygor, iDemise, and Joana’s all have the ingame feature, only Zygor and Ultimate WoW Guide have auto step detection to detect when you’ve completed a step and advance you to the next.
