The creator of the Joana Horde Leveling Guide is a speed leveler from way back.
He plays under the character Joana or Mancow and has been accused of cheating because of how fast he levels.
When Blizzard held a contest in 2006 to see who could get to level 50 the fastest, he won.
In fact, friends asked him so often how he can possibly level so quickly, that’s what inspired him to created his Horde leveling guide.
He consistently levels to 70 in under a week on different realms.
So what’s his guide all about? Speed, speed, speed.
His fastest time to 60 is 4 days 20 hours, which he has very carefully documented in his guide, both via his quest steps and also on a video so you can watch his whole run if you feel so inclined. Yup, that’s right, his entire run to 60 is on video.
Even if you don’t take the time to watch it all, it’s still 100% proof that he knows what he’s talking about when he says leveling to 70 in under a week is possible.
Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide is an ingame add on, so you can easily see the steps without having to alt-tab away from the game, or consult a secondary computer.
And it has a directional arrow, clearly showing you where to go and letting you get there quickly.
Now, his guide doesn’t include any member forum. It’s probably because he’s so busy trying to beat his time that he wouldn’t be able to moderate.
But he has had time to put out 70 – 80 WOTLK guide including a DK leveling guide, and if it’s anything like his 1 – 70 guide, you’ll have friends asking you how you level so fast. In any event, if you want absolute lightning-speed leveling, Joana’s Leveling Guide is the one you want.
